As a Ph.D. recipient, teacher and storyteller, I excel in research, writing, data analysis and communication. I also possess a demonstrated ability to learn and apply new digital competencies to advance research and learning. But above all, I love the challenge of digesting complex information into compelling stories that enable insights into people, culture and institutions.
I also love using digital media to bring great stories to a wide audience. As a graduate student, I worked on a variety of digital media projects: contributing 13 digital publications to Not Even Past, performing historical research for BackStory With the American History Guys and helping to build the historical database People of the Founding Era. You can also hear me speak—rather nervously—as a Guest Host on several episodes of of the podcast 15 Minute History, selected as one of iTunes U’s best podcasts of 2014.
